Truffle Season

It’s truffle season at Black Star Pastry! This year our kitchen has crafted a series of elevated sweet and savoury treats that champion this aromatic delicacy. Truffle lovers and enjoyers can look forward to fresh Australian truffles in our:

★ Truffle Éclair: Indulge in a delicate choux pastry filled with cocoa nib custard and black truffle-infused caramel. Each eclair is then topped with a light truffle whipped ganache and a sweet crumble. (Available at all store locations, including pop-ups. Available to pre-order for in-store collection or delivery.)

★ Truffle and Macadamia Danish: A flaky, laminated bi-color brioche filled with salted macadamia praline custard and soft truffle toffee caramel. Topped with dark chocolate buttercream and grated black truffle. (Available at all store locations, including pop-ups. Available to pre-order for in-store collection or delivery.)

★ Truffle and Brie Quiche: Creamy truffle infused egg custard made with fragrant sauteed mushroom, truffle tapenade, and decadent truffle brie. Encased in our buttery and always flaky pastry, garnished with grated black truffle. (Available at all store locations, excluding pop-ups. Available to pre-order for in-store collection or delivery.)

★ Truffle Toastie: Buttered and toasted sourdough laden with an aromatic blend of truffle bechamel, sautéed portobello with truffle tapenade, melted mozzarella, gruyere, and grated truffle. (Only available in-store, excluding pop-ups.)
